  • Posts that would seem to indicate the poster has some experience with what he/she is posting about, but in reality they are just regurgitating things that they read on message boards.

Mine has to be when a poster quotes an entire Spurnotes in ther post only to say: "nice report" or "thanks Tony"; or they will quote the whole thing just to ask a question. There is clearly an Ask Tony feature one pinned thread above the Spurnotes thread.

Mine is when someone starts a thread complaining about something.

Mine is when posters post new topics that are filled with complaints about something going on with the board,

knowing full well that the post will make no difference whatsoever.

During the season, posts complaining about the band.

Unwritten rule #1: Don't quote the OP, it is assumed that you are responding to his/her post.
don't let the haters get you down. Drives me insane too...especially on a mobile.

    hate the grammar police.

    I hate the grammatically challenged.

To borrow a quote from Sir Winston S. Churchill: "Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put."

What uniforms are we wearing on Saturday?
For away games: What are some hotels close to the stadium?
Does my 2 year old need a ticket?

What channel is the game on?

Mine is that they dont use the OFFICIAL USC garnet!

I hate when tony ignores me :'(

Agreed, sometimes I have a hard time deciding if people gripe to live or live to gripe.

ITS YOURE RIGHT TO BE WRONG BO. I LOVE CAPS LOCK. GOAT BUTTON IMO

I hate it when people don't understand that I'm right and they are wrong!

The word kkklempsin. It's just blatant racism and it really bothers the hell out of me. There are a hundred other ways to insult them

Mine is when we lose a recruit, you see the obligatory posts indicating "$$$$$$$$" made the difference. Usually accompanied by "Everybody knows they cheat".

Mine is a tie between Steve Miller and stevecook. I now hate all people named Steve except Spurrier of course.
offensive homophobic remarks, trolls, and bein made fun of

Threads being hijacked with off the wall stuff...i.e. spelling, word usage and those who post topics on the wrong boards.

    Piggybacking here on this one:

What time does the games start?

Any idea on the time for (insert opponent) game will be? (game is 2 months away, they usually announce game times 2 weeks prior)

Pretty much everything he says infuriates me.

  • First...There's nothing quite like opening the board and seeing 3, 6, or even more threads on the exact same topic...why?
I remember opening the board one day and half the board was filled with threads that were all the same topic. Really?

Second...watching spoiled brats attack everyone else for having a differing opinion. Mama's boys should stay home with mama. Grown men should act like grown men, not 12 year olds.

  • Prayer requests that get ignored or someone commenting negative on them. Prayer is a very powerful thing! I know this board is fun and informational. However, we are all human (most) and its no shame in asking for prayer.

Prayer, like a medical problem, is a private matter. If you ask for it on a message, you're seeking attention. The people that reply "prayers sent" are as bad the people with ribbon stickers on their cars or people who post about "causes" in a Facebook status.

    Sad but I agree...

    chucktcock

  • I don't know if that's completely accurate. I've seen countless prayer requests that didn't give too much information other than to simply keep someone in your prayers. I don't like attention-seeking behavior, but I don't mind an honest request.

Just when I thought I could not be surprised by someone's comment. However, you are entitiled to yours. I respect them but disagree.
