Bobby Petrino in Motorcycle Crash

Yesterday about 6:45 and was taken to hospital. No word on condition....

Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino was involved in a single-motorcycle accident last night and was taken to a Fayetteville hospital, according to Arkansas State Police.

I'm sorry this happened, and I don't exactly what occurred for his accident, but you hear all too often of motorcycle wrecks. In Florida there are tons because drivers arent paying attention. It seems to be dangerous to ride your bike even when careful.

Dropped mine 2 years ago and sold it 6 months later after an ambulance ride and a ct scan. Was banged up for about 3 weeks.

I don't really like the guy so I am kinda hoping he was riding a Japanese POS and not a Harley. I usually like to think that I can like someone who rides a Harley on some level.

it took me a year to "feel " comfortable on a bike . that said , you are like an old buck at a corn pile , you never quit looking for danger .

It's not that motorcycles are dangerous, as others have stated, it's the people driving around you. I'd love to have one but I can't help but picture myself getting plowed into by some chick trying to drive a Prius while texting.

Got slammed 5 years ago....stopped at a red light.
Turned out the guy that hit me--who of course had minimal insurance--used to detail cars for a buddy of mine, but my buddy stopped using the guy because he said the guy was baked all the time...which raises the question, how baked do you have to be to not be able to detail a car???

I've been plowed twice in the back by motorcycles. I walked out ok each time. They on the other hand had to visit the Emrdency room. One lost his leg from the knee down. Have had two of my students lose limbs weeks after graduation with their new "TOYS".
Motorcycles ARE dangerous. It's not always "People in cars" who cause them to wreck. Just like with cars though there are people who shouldn't be behind the handlebars. But, you have a right to drive one if you like.
