Sorry, but BE pushes the ball recklessly, gets out of position defensively, and simply feeds the post poorly, with bad angles and poor feel for timing. There were hundreds of times our bigs had good position and BE was either to slow, made a poor feed or simply didn't make the feed for whatever reason. Intelligence and BB IQ don't always equate.
Ummm Horn's gone, so I guess we should blame him for everything, does that include the weather?

I'm not sure that we missed that many clean post feeds this past year, but we certainly had a lot of missed shots off of good post feeds. Playing inside out requires having guys that convert their opportunities inside.
Harris was relatively weak, IMO, at finishing the ball from a set back to the basket position, but he was pretty good in cleaning up the garbage. Harris getting a redshirt to work on his touch may really benefit him at UVA or wherever.
Regardless, Ellington has loads of things to work on in basketball and his choice to split time again means that he is not going to improve much.
If Martin's kids all qualify, I think Ellington may have a hard time finding a significant role on the team. I just do not see a strong coach who hasn't made any promises to Ellington and who faces very little job pressure to win catering to a kid that isn't fully committed.
When Ellington shows up in January, he will likely be the same raw talent with the same holes in his game he has been his first two years.
If Martin has other options who have been working with the team since June and who have the ability to play the position at a reasonably high level, I don't see him pulling them just to welcome Ellington back.
