CORNELIUS, N.C. - Linebacker Larenz Bryant names a group of three top schools, but not all of those three schools may get an official visit.

  • Bryant is No. 1 on my wish list for this class. We haven't signed a GREAT high school linebacker in forever.

I would put Rolin in the very good category, but I think Bryant can be special.

  • He wants to major in Communications, so that hopefully will work in our favor.

I like Rolin better. I think Rolin is bigger, imo just as good athletically, and a better tackler.

I as well. For the tape that we have available on both prospects.

I think they both are very similar, and I really want them to come here.

Those two are both tall, long limbed athletes that will have a big impact in coverage; zone especially.

Urlacher is a QB's nightmare in zone coverage, and I think those two could have a similar impact.

Don't yall think that if we land both of these guys, our LB 'problems' will be over? Landing these two would be equivalent to landing 3/4 of a Clowney, maybe even 5/6, or, dare I say 15/16th of a Clowney?

I just think that Rolin will be the best LB we have had since.........I don't know, but I think these two together would be BAAAAD news for our opponents.

What? Those two are similar in body type and athleticism. My garnet goggles are not such that I would say that those two are as good as Urlacher. They are both long, tall, and can run. Rolin, from his film, is a natural in coverage.

I am delusional, but am not so delusional yet as to compare them to Urlacher in anything other than body type.

Now, if they commit, then my delusions might get a little more far-fetched, but, for now, they are similar to Urlacher in body-type only.

Based on the film (clips) I have seen on Rolin & Bryant, I have favored Rolin for sometime now. However, a 4.43 40 from a high school junior LB is just plain insane!! & being named MVP of thecamp this passed weekend is starting me to get on board. Regardless I would love to have these two play for us. It take playmakers at each level of a defense to be dominate (line, LB & secondary). One or both can put us at that level.

Kight Dallas was named mvp of a rivals camp in the ATL with at least 50 4* there, and a bunch of 5*. Nobody made a big deal out of that. I can post the names of everyone that was there if you really want me to.

Now, Bryant does it and its a big deal. I guess because it was a rivals vto camp.

Why would I want or need you to post post anyone that paticipated in the camp. For some unknown reason unbeknowst to me you decided to defend Kight Dallas based on my post. Posting a 4.43 40 by a high school junior 200lb plus LB is impressive no matter what his name is even if we weren't recruiting him...period. And yes, it takes more than speed to be a great player.

By the way, I'm the one who posted the additional vid of Kight on here when he committed because all criticism about his star rating. He is a big fast LB which is we need. At worst, he will make our special team better. I like the LB(s) we are recruiting and have committed, just my opinion. We all have them just like a-holes.
