How anyone could logically believe that Horn should be back next year is beyond me.

I think that you need to understand thatnfor obvious reasons if anyone associated with this board knew that Horn was going to get fired that they would not relay this information to a bunch of people that are on a message board. Ive grown tired of all of the people thursting for information on hisnjob status. He is either going to be our coach or he isnt. Nobody on this baord can do anything to change that. Inthi k alotnof you need to get a hobby or find a girlfriend. Way to much time worrying about the status of a coach. Personally a bunch of guys wanting somebody to getnfired and continuing to make new threads about it is everything that is wrong with fan boards. The questions has been asked about 1000000 times and the same response is given. Wont know till the end of the season what happens.

There is really not a lot to get an idea on. The decision is up to Hyman. I have spoken with people who believe that Horn is done at the end of the season and then there is a strong faction that believes Hyman will do anything possible to keep Horn.

Frankly at this point in time there just isn't enough concrete information one way or the other to put something out.

Thanks WG for some credible insight...this is what I just can't understand for the life of me. Does Darrin Horn have dirt on Hyman or something?? Is Hyman really that prideful that he would refuse to fire Horn and let our basketball program suffer just because he doesn't want his hire to be proven wrong?? This has to be it because I can't see what Horn is bringing to the table that would make Hyman do anything he can to keep him around.

That is why I keep harping on this, not because I need a hobby, but because anybody's common sense would say Horn needs to be fired at seasons end, but Hyman seems to want to poke the fans in the eye and do just the opposite. Maybe I have to much desire to see Carolina basketball be successful for once in my lifetime and commit the necessary resources to do that.

If you are not willing to pay the price to be successful then PULL THE PLUG on the program!! It would be a lot better than watching this slow painful death we call a basketball.

I know it's early, but I'm sure this is the dumb post of the day. Thank goodness our AD doesn't run his dept by the pulse of this board and can keep things close to the vest. SMH..... "Hyman seems to want to poke the fans in the eye..."

I am a supporter of Hyman but I hope he fires Horn. We will not be able to recruit any decent players with this dark cloud over Horn. We need someone new with enough of a name to come in and recruit 2-3 solid players to turn this thing around.
