Disband BBall, give the schollies to the baseball team, turn the CLA into an indoor football practice facility and use the $2 million per year to finance women's BBall to become the next Tennessee.

Thanks for your support on my proposal. Honestly if we were Half Assing it we probably would've won at least one tourney game in my lifetime. Maybe We've been Quarter Assing it.

Yep....I actually like basketball best myself. I can't take this anymore..I will tell you one thing....with Hyman not even trying to land Marshall....I will hate him till the day I die.

Not really. We make more money from our SEC basketball distribution than we spend on basketball and to open the CLA for our thousand or so fans to wander in for a game.
If the SEC would still give us a share of SEC basketball money, it would be far more lucrative for us to give up the ghost.
But, I don't think Steve's idea was really meant to prompt this level of analysis.

probably the worst idea I've heard all week.... maybe month. A top notch athletic program always has a mens basketball team. Just because we have had a few bad seasons does not meant you should jump off the bandwagon or not be a fan. If you support the university you should support the basketball program. don't worry, we have the resources, we will be a contender before ya know it and you'll be bouncing up and down in Colonial life arena.... probably telling everyone how we should have fired horn a year earlier
