I understand JC's point about the staff turnover and losing momentum but I agree with your statement as well. I'd like to think perhaps you take someone on staff you know is going nowhere during a time of transition and ask him to take on a little more weight by acting as a surrogate of said area for that unforseeable future, for seemless transitions sake.

Not sure why all the downvotes, i was coming in expecting some lunatic rants, but instead found very valid points. Growing up in Fort Mill, there is no reason that USC doesn't have a lock on the Rock Hill (we already do) and Charlotte high schools, USC is the closest D1 school that I know of to Charlotte. It is pretty sad we don't have a major recruiting presence there, I understand coaching turnover, but there has to be a presence there outside of the one recruiter assigned to that area. You can't tell me Charlotte doesn't have talent because i know they do, and you have a much better chance stealing someone from the NC schools then you do GA and FL schools.
