Geographical location is no longer important. The key is bringing in schools to the table that can help crowbar more money from tv. If the sec network is created, an aspect of money capability is if you get a portion of cable dollars for each subscriber in the state a member school is located. So that's why va tech and nc are important states to expand to because of the size of population in each state. So op, joking or not clemson makes no sense since they won't bring in more $$$. This isn't the 50s or 60s where you'd bus to schools and nearby schools was necessary, gotta think big picture. In two years the landscape of college football will be dramatically different and clemson is desperately trying to grasp onto one of big 4 conferences.

I disagree.
Even if what you say about Clemson is true it would not be in USC's best interests for CU to join the SEC. Can't see it happening.
