Clifford "encouraged" to transfer

Actually Spurrier covered himself. We would have found out one way or the other that he was encouraged to transfer. At least this way Clifford can't play victim. Spurrier has already put out there why he is being encouraged.
Spurrier tried to be discreet last yr with the little sherman and it blew up. Good luck to you Andrew!

Complete waste of a scholarship IMO. If I remember correctly this kid had no offers other than USC in 2009.

My guess is cliff's balking because he likely has nowhere else to go, so sos is cutting it off before cliff and uncle mark go public and try to make this thing an issue.
