Fomerly known as Garnet&BlackAttack.
You may run like Hayes, but you hit like $*!#
I also don't have time to teach you how to speak hobo.
I'm stealing this stat from Tony's thread. Garcia is 119th out of 119 College QB's in interceptions. He is 106th out of 119 in passing efficiency. We've played 5 games now.
Is that fair enough for you?
I think your critisism of Shaw is a little harsh considering how little time he has actually had in the saddle so to speak.
you better hope or be thankful your first girlfreind was kind enough to give you another shot the first time you made love. ..... historically those are quickies. similar to the amount of playing time Shaw has had.
Garcia has to this day been a shadow of the potential he has shown in the past couple of years. if he was playing / throwing the football with 75% of the confidence he showed us last year these discusssions would not be happening. we would be 5-0 and in the top ten ahead of Klempson.
I don't want to see garcia thrown under the bus. he shoudl have to work his way back to the starter. something needs to change and QB is a start. if you go back and look at the game saturday you will see check down recievers running wide open in the middle every time he scrambled.
Again i appreciate all garcia has done but we need to do something different. there were so many opportunties to change th outcome of the auburn game it was rediculous. If witlock does fumble the pass he intersepted we were in feild goal range at the end of his run if he steps put of bounds instead of trying to cut it back into field.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.
Shaw has one turnover for the year. It resulted in zero points.
Garcia was the beneficiary of FIVE ECU turnovers inside their own 40 yard line. Our D and Special teams scored 14 points.
He had less than 50% completion rate, which, at the time seemed like an anomally.
Yet Garcia saved the day against ECU. WTF.
