Is shaping up to be a BIG Saturday of college football...particularly in the SEC. I'm thinking CBS may pull their strings and book back-to-back games at 330pm and 800pm that day...with LSU @ UF, and of course UGA @ Willy B. In that scenario I would LOVE to get the night cap...you talk about an electric atmosphere...wow!
Very possible, although they could just do UF/LSU at 3:30 CBS & UGA/USC at 7 on ESPN.

You completely missed the OP's point, but that's alright.
Don't look past Kentucky
Go Gamecocks !!!
No I didn't. He wants a night game. I do too. He feels CBS may go with the double-header, which I said very possible, but also suggested the other option as to having a night game. You missed everything.
I'm definitely looking past Kentucky FWIW
CBS gets one night game a year correct? Do they use it for one of the 10/6 games or do they save it hoping to showcase a possible #1 vs #2 for LSU-Alabama? I know they are able to do a double-header but I am not sure if they have done a 3:30 and 8 double header in the past. I know they have done a Noon game and a 3:30 double header though. And even if they get to do a double-header, I don't see how ESPN would allow them to pick both of these games up. ESPN wants one of them for sure!
To be honest, I see CBS choosing the 6 day option this week to see how Georgia does against Tennessee. I think they get two 6 day options each season so this would be a good week to do that.
CBS did it last year. We played Aubie at 3:30, and Florida played 'Bama at 8. Both on CBS.
Bama-LSU is on CBS prime time. It was part of the deal to put it on at night last year. There will also be a 3:30 game that day on CBS.
October 6 is also a doubleheader, but is a 12 & 3:30 dh. The noon game is Navy @ Air Force.
In other words, no chance for CBS night game on 10/6.
