I thought the first was a good call but the second, which was similar to Legree's INT, was a bad call.
What's your thoughts?
correct, except the Legree call was more egregiously bad than the one on clemp. That crew had a rough nite
I think the second one and the one on Legree should have not been called because they beat the WR to a spot where the ball was thrown... at least they were consistent on the way they called it though

First was a good call. Second was the same as Legrees INT...so if they had not called it would have been wrong. Also, felt there were a couple on the dump off passes to Kenny or Justice that should have been called.
SEC - Iron sharpens iron.
Actually, I'm a little pissed they called the P.Is...they were both on the same drive (though different ends of the field since it was the end of the 3rd Q & early 4th - and THAT DRIVE ENDED WITH AN INT IN THE END ZONE!!! So it actually COST us 3 points!!! Taters are spinning the tater web....don't fall for it. They are TOO DUMB to know that in the end the calls HELPED them!!
My thoughts, are that bad officiating is bad all the way around.
We used to bitch about officiating when they beat us, but when you win it is much easier to point out the mistakes that are quite obvious but you don't do it, cause it doesn't matter.
Jimmy's pick was not interference, not by any reasonable standard. The repeated holding calls were an abomination as well.
It all evens out in the end.
The drive where we got the two PI's that helped, we threw an INT in the back of the endzone, so they didn't cost them anything.
Just people making excuses.
first legit, second bad but equivalent to the Legree call. Between that and the 7 holding calls, the officials needed to butt out of the game. I think they saw how chippy it was though, and were attempting to get involved. I guess. no other explanation for the holding calls (besides the call on TJ on touchdown where he bearhugged the guy).
They missed a block in the back call on that big sweep play before the td to nuk too. Clemson can complain all they want, but calls went both eays and didn't affect the outcome
Sure. But what about the three to four no calls when we threw dump downs and their linebackers either turned our receiver or came right through his back? It probably evened out and DT's interception on the next play after the 2nd call you referenced certainly made it a non-factor.

clemson hit our guy on the short passes over the middle before the ball got there 3 times without it being called. also the cheap shot on bruce ellington was blatant pass interference at the very least. he was way over 5 yards past the line of scrimmage
