We lead for:
In the game for Dontavious Russell.
It's so much easier to compete in the SEC when we keep our top players at home, especially those on the DL.
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
It's a good problem to have. We are in the thick of it with some top flight de's as well. Should be a great overall dl haul this year.
With such a small class we should be able to cherry pick the top 3 on our board at all positions we are taking.
I'd like us to take
Pringle and Ford as DT's
Wideman and Christian Miller as DE's., but put a full court press on Hand and take him as a pure over sign.
I like this, but my preference would be to get 2 DTs, A. Williams and Miller as DEs, Hand/Featherston/Carter as an oversign AND a third DT to send to prep school and enroll in January 2015.

We can't forget, Scolly's will come available as some leave the Team for various reason's, I beleive we get at least 20 or maybe even 22 in this upcoming class when all is said and done, maybe Wes can give a better prediction!
Think I have seen Tony M state publicly he expects USC to sign 15 max. Is that wrong?
Wes agrees with me. Numbers look tight now, but say Harris, Fish, Brent, Golightly, 2 Stadniks, Carson, Dukes are all at best 3rd on their respective depth charts. Then S Jeffery puts together a solid year and heads to the league. Vic Hampton does as well and Mike Matulis' shoulders are ruined and he takes a hardship. Along with Clowney and the 6 seniors, you're at 17. Plus, we're 2 under to begin with and 1 or 2 from 2013 may not qualify. All this totals to 20 or so.
Yes, he has stated this several times. Tony is supposed to have a 2014 numbers article Monday, Feb. 10.
Harris is gone.
So Wes predicts 20?
Thanks...and the Wes question?
Honest question. What is Wes' track record of predicting anything gamecock? Not an attack. But for now I will defer to Tony. His track record is pretty darn good.
Okay, so according to eddy, Wes predicts 20 and we know Tony predicts 15. Will be interesting to follow.
Wes was on front of tony on the Langley switch aroo.
I personally think the turnip truck's about to be up and running. And it should be.
You might be right, but writing off the Stadnik's coming off redshirts is a little premature in my opinion.
