15 has been said but there's no reason we can't get to 20. Also after the best 3 years ever it should be a much easier sell for USC for some elite players.
I'm not including everyone in our footprint, but most we should/could land. Some positions I have no clue who we could get, like safety.
Potential to be a special class.
1 QB - Barker
1 RB - Scott
1 TE - Crosby
2 WR - Davidson, T Thompson
3 OL - Spain, Stanley, ?
2 CB - 1 of J Peppers/J Tabor, ?
2 S - ?, ?
3 LB - Alllen-Williams, C Miller, ?
3 DE - prep Vickers, juco Thomas(grades), Hand, Featherston, A Williams, this could get interesting
2 DT- juco Hood, Wideman
Couple of 5 start LBs we should be involved with too like McMillan and Daub.
We are not close to landing McMillan or Daub. We are not in it for Peppers either.
S- Darrin Smalls favors us big time.
I will not hold my breath on any kid resigning with us from JUCO as well.

In order to get to 20 next year there will have to be attrition of around 13 if we sign around 23 or 24 this year. That is a lot and unlikely.
Why not those 2? Both looking at OOS schools, Clemson, etc, and we've still got a good story at LB.
What happened with Peppers? I thought Mangus had been on him a while. Is he one of the guys that transferred?
Can be done.
They'll have to get creative, sure. Also will have to be very selective.
QB - Barker
FB/HB/TE - Crosby, Ritchie
WR - Davidson, Berrios, one more
OL - Spain, Stanley, Brown, Camaras teammate
DE - Hand, Wideman, Thomas
DT -Ford, Moten
LB - Allen Williams, Bates
CB - Smalls, Wesley Green
Safety - Quincy Wilson

Berrios is going to be one of the WR we sign also. He's about as good as it gets for a slot guy. I'll take him and Davidson all day. I think that we'll definitely re sign Jhaustin Thomas if his grades are in order. I think the same with Hood. I am not familiar with some of those other guys at DE.
Christian Miller wants to play in a 3-4 as of right now. His dad has such an ego, that I'm not sure what the best route to take on him is. He seems like a good kid, but his dad would take to the radio every time Ward did something he did not agree with.
Barker, Scott, and Crosby would be very nice.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
I'd say if anything at all...
QB - Barker
RB - Scott
TE - Crosby And/or Ritchie
WR - Davidson, Berrios and another
OL - Spain, Stanley, Brown, and a couple guards
CB - Tabor (longshot) and Smalls
S - Same with you, no idea
LB - BAW, Miller, Blue
DE - Vickers, Hand, Williams
DT - Wideman, Pringle, guy from HH
And those are our main targets, not guys we are for sure getting. I'm not including JUCO guys either because I doubt we take any of them.

You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
Another DB is Humphrey, incredibly long shot, his Dad Bobby played for 'Bama, Coach Brown at least has us in the conversation; from what I have read his Dad is like Miller's in that they intend, for now, to ultimately let their sons make their own decision.
"Act like you've been there before and expect to be back." - Bear Bryant
Berrios is reaching Pharaoh Cooper like hype on this site, and I think he's a solid player, but do we drop a guy like Trevion Thompson for him?
I'm just assuming we get Davidson.
Unless Bud Foster gets fired, Hamd is not coming here
It's going to be tough to pull Hand out of Va., VT has owned that region of the state for years, with Mangus and Lawing there is always hope, but to your point - it's only a sliver.
If Berrios wants to commit, we will take his commit. I'm sure we would take Thompson, and Davidson as well. After every camp Berrios goes to, he is one of, if not the best WR there. If he were 3" taller, he would be a mid 4*. As we learned with Ace, Bruce, and even Nick Jones, height is not the be all, end all. Him and Davidson are the two I want.
Do you not believe that there are 3* players out there who are bound to be stars? I believe in the rankings as well, but I am also sure that Cooper and Berrios are going to be very good college players.
I thought Smalls was a CB?
We have never been mentioned by Trevion Thompson, we lead for Braxton Berrios. If we are making a realistic list then we are putting him down as one of our WRs. Berrios also stands out at every camp setting he attends and will fill our need at slot nicely (Ace will be gone, Bruce and BYrd will be Sr).
Agree with the potential for the next class. Our recent success should allow us to upgrade the talent we bring in.
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
what about that juco lineman that didnt get in last year?
Davidson, Berrios and Googer would be a good wr haul imo
Fomerly known as Garnet&BlackAttack.
If we sign 5 OL this year we will not take but 2 or 3 next year...Stanley, Spain & maybe 1 other.
I hope that we pursue Jhaustin Thomas (DE) and Joe Harris (OG), our 2012 JUCO placements. Thomas is a freak of an athlete and Harris has that mean streak. Not sure about Carlos Hood at DT, though. I also expect us to get to about 20 next year with attrition. Our staff is creative, knows what is it doing, and knows that 2014 is a "special" recruiting year, especially locally.
