Hmmm, That seems pretty interesting. I thought he did take stuff from the apt ?
Garnet I Bleed
Sign him up... or Re-sign him up. We could use him.
You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
Sounds like the young man has his life in order.
Curious if the staff is considering giving him another chance. He was expected to contribute at MLB prior to the issues.
Glad everything has worked out for the young man
Actually, Tony has released the REAL truth. Amazing that you guys will believe a personal website of someone who has been arrested multiple times. Does it really surprise you that it's a lie? Not me.

Looks like the judge dropped the charges based on the evidence, so it sounds to me like the truth has come out.
I'm not that naive.
Lived on a 3rd floor apartment one summer while at Carolina. No fewer than 3 times I accidentally went into the second floor apartment.
Hope its a legit turnaround for him
The law has spoken...the system has run its course. Let the young student athlete get on with his career. Plus...we need lbs!
Someone I know was going to my buddy's apartment after a Carolina game and went to the apartment on the lower floor. He started drinking a beer from the fridge and waited on us to arrive. He became confused when he realized he didn't recognize his surroundings and the apartment owner walked in. Pretty funny story.
Tony can you find out if the staff has any interest in him returning to the team?
I believe he had a first infraction in Georgia he never notified our staff about as well. They were fairly serious charges if my memory serves me correctly. I hope he does well in life but think its probably best for all its elsewhere.

How much eligibility would he have if he was allowed to return?
This is a good question. The clock starts when you enroll so I am guessing four to play four. Tony would probably know for sure though.
Elliott "Small" Fry
One thing I've noticed about Spurrier is that he usually gets the details of what happened and comes to a solid conclusion on discipline. I don't see him dismissing kids because they walked in the wrong apartment.
Except at the time that Wately was dismissed, the only facts were that he had been charged with 2 crimes and had not been "up front" about the verbal altercation that was described as a "terrorist threat" IIRC. Obviously, both issues were overblown and the kid should be given a second chance. He definitely appears to have learned some important "life lessons" and I would not be against The USC for giving him another chance, regardless of whether we have a need at LB. I trust our coaches, though, to continue to do the right thing.
Is it more plausible that this is an exception to SOS's track record or that there are things involving AW that we're unaware of? Serious question and I have no idea what the answer is.
Well it appears Watley's character SHOULD be called into question. Tony's update states that he did not have the charges dropped, but instead plead guilty to a lesser charge. After reading his update, it made me think he was cleared of all wrongdoing. obviously that is not the case.
Criminals lie????? Holy crap!
I wouldn't go so far to call him a criminal. No more than getting a traffic ticket makes you a criminal. it's not like this guy raped your girlfriend. it's apparent to me that his dismissal was more to do with things other than this incident.
I bet you are one of the hypocrites that hates on guys like Watley, yet were upset when Garcia was dismissed.
