Great for him. He really seems like the total package.
After all the 247 analysts raved about him I'm surprised they still have 10 players ahead of him at his position. They must REALLY like them.
Glad he's getting more recognition though and hope he continues to rise.
awesome....he will be Top 100 by Feb........
Kid wins 3 MVP awards at LB during camps this spring, shows he can play in space, and still can't crack the top 100?

Don't forget, ratings are strongly based on raw talent. There's a number of players that are just naturally gifted and can play hella good ball at this specific point in time. Where BAW becomes a huge get for us is he has the mentality to get better and better. You can't really put a ranking on that, hence why it's called an intangible, but it's just as important as talent and a great indication of how good a player WILL be, as opposed to how good they currently ARE.
On a ratings change note --
Noticed big dropoffs for Wes Green and Peyton Newell (-69 and -70)
Wonder what that's about?
The sky is the limit with BAW. Can't wait to see him in WB.
Just wait until he plays a season at linebacker
You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
Since he plays a lot with his hand down in high school I would think BAW classifies as to what you're saying. I was listening to JC's podcast about BAW and that's one of the things he mentioned as since he plays with his hand down in high school, these camp settings he has really shown he has the ability to be a very good linebacker, something you can't get a great feel from off film rushing the passer from the DL so much. JC mentioned if he does well at the US Army All American Bowl, he could get another bump in ratings.
Its not that I doubt you, but I'd like to see an article or something showing that. I'd be interesting in reading about him as a baseball player and what kind of competition they play.
Three things I love... My Lord, My son and college football!
BAW is my top recruit for this class and has been since the beginning. Few other recruits bring the combination of talent, intelligence, willingness to learn and improve, friendliness, excellent overall character, and outstanding family support system as BAW. He will now excel as a "recruiter" for his class and our program. Huge commitment!!!
Agreed. In those videos they posted last week, BAW is shockingly quick. His acceleration is elite, and his top speed is pretty crazy for a LB as well. Color me very impressed.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
