I for one can't wait for this game for one reason. I want to see if Bama can go in there on a Saturday night and do there thing. You can call it envy or whatever else, but there is little doubt in my mind that they will be ready to play. More than anything, I want to compare their performance vs. ours just to see how much further we have to go to be at the top of major CFB.
I am hoping for LSU to blow them out or win in a squeaker. That will give our 2 point loss to them in Death Valley on a Saturday nite more respect.
On another rant ....it soooo irritates me to see them have their big games on Saturday nite while we plod along on Saturdays at NOON !
I f an outsider had seen the Georgia game (at nite) vs the Tenn (noon)in person they would ve thought WTF ! I hate getting screwed out of our home field advantage/atmosphere by TV. ok sorry for the rant.
I believe Bama wins by 10, maybe more. LSU's inability to throw the ball downfield will hurt them IMO. Bama will have to have a couple turnovers and LSU come up with a big play on ST's to keep within reach. Who knows though, football is a wild game.
"Never look down on anyone unless you're helping them up."
I don't. I want a shot at a BCS game, we don't have a great shot but LSU losing would help.
LSU doesn't have an offense, and Bama has the Top Ranked Defense. The only way I see LSU scoring is to get the ball in really good field position because of a bad punt or a turnover. Without turnovers for a lot of points, no way LSU can win this game IMO.
considering what was on the line(likely the MNC), that was one of the best games I've seen in a long time
this one finally lived up to the hype
