Anybody have any recommendations? I am planning something for this summer, any help would be appreciated.
Oh this is too good. Are you being serious?

Pat if you are serious it really all depends on when you are fishing, what you want to catch and how many people. Ive fished inshore and offshore Charleston for the past 14 years and here is what i can share. If it a group of 5 or more and want to catch bottom fish and some Pelagics call Capt Mark Brown on The Teasar 881-9735. One of the most knowledgable Captains here. If you just want to troll for Dolphin, tuna, sails, etc there are tons of great ones. 2 that I have been on a few times are Wadamacallit http://www.wadmacallit.com/. And The Agressor! Sorry no link. If you want a more local experience on a nice center console with a couple buddies catching anything from Cobia, Grouper, Red Snapper to Black Sea Bass check out Capt Shane Sinclair http://www.charlestoninshorecharters.com/.
Thanks for the replies. It's for my buddies bachelor party and I'm having a tough time finding anything that will take more than 6 of us. I left a message for Teaser but haven't heard back. Any other recommendations for a big group?
Totally agree if you want in shore Google Chris Chavis. Tater Hater is right on here. H e is on Shem Creek and you can go to Red's Ice House after!
Fins and Flies Charters LLC -- Michael Bruner, former Columbian and Gamecock fan. Great guy, and will take good care of you.
Gonna try trolling somewhere else for a change?
2012 Season stats: 143 carries, 662 yards, 11 TD's; 26 catches, 173 yards;
Praying for a full recovery, Marcus. God Bless You!
Mark will get back to you. He's probably busy fighting for fishing rights to Congress. You will catch a ton of fish and I think he will take up to 12

You're going to have very little luck finding a charter that will take over 6 because most of them only have a license to carry 6 on a charter. I think there's one or two that I'm aware of that can do that down there. What you need is a friend of friend who has a boat and will run it for "gas/bait" money only. You have to have your own licenses for saltwater then, but those are cheap. Try charlestonfishing.com. They have a list of charter captains that work down there, but again nearly all of them can only take 6. Good ones I've fished with Laff-A-Lot, Sea J's (smaller boat), and couple others I cannot think of right now. Also Bak Bar, Adamada, and the Aggressor generally wear the fish out, but are hard to get a lot with because they generally wear the fish out.
