Excited about this news. Can't wait for spring training. Looks like me and my son are headed to Disney for a game or two.
Well said. Much respect for Prado. We are fired up to have Upton.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
Hate losing Prado, but he was gone after this year anyway. Overall, a pretty good deal for the Bravos.
The AJC has coined the new OF "Up, Up, and a Hey"
I'd rather get Kate Upton
Great move although I'd rather give up Teheran than Delgado. The Braves still have 9 million to spend. Very good off season but would love to lock up Freddie and Heyward.
Braves still won't win the WS, but let's pretend they will.

RC serious question. Who is coming off the books next year to free up 9mil? I know McCann will but J. Upton also gets paid close to 14 the next two years. I'm guessing you're thinking Hudson, McCann correct? Am I missing others as well? Thanks man!
Unless Uggla turns things around, I would expect to see the Braves offer him for a piece of nothing and agree to pick up a big chunk of the salary just to get him out of the way. McCann and Hudson, like you said, are really the only ones who have quality replacements coming through the system.
I have a funny feeling that Uggla is going to turn things around though. I don't know why it is, but I can see him getting back to hitting .275 with 25+ home runs.
They have 9 mill left for THIS season. Chipper and Lowes contracts were the main ones. 15mil before the trade and like 9-10mil after.
Fomerly known as Garnet&BlackAttack.
They are raising payroll by about 8-10 mill this year
Surely you aren't serious. There is no bat in the braves lineup that scares any pitcher. It's been that way for years and the Upton deal won't change that.
NOW WE DON'T HAVE A HOMERUN THREAT!!!
