No question that LSU is the far superior team, and that the SEC Tigers' strengths match up well vs. the Bi-Lo Tigers' weaknesses. But LSU's motivation is a real question mark. Besides the two mid-season clunkers they had prior to losing to Florida, they also had a pair of underwhelming wins in their final two games: 41-35 vs. Ole Miss and 20-13 vs Arkansas.
So, while LSU should win this game comfortably, they just might screw around and let Clemtech take them into the 4th quarter. We'll see.
IMO Clemson will be totally incapable of stopping LSU's running game. The score may be close going into the 4th, but the tater defense will be gassed.
kinda agree.... will still lay the 5pts just on principal. motivations the big question mark here.
Well I hope not 'cause a close moral victory is all it will take to ramp up the MNC talk in daboland.
