He weighs 203 and will report to college in August, 2014. S. Moore weighs 208 and reports in August, 2013. You really think it's his weight?
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
Seems like the majority of linebackers we've offered over the last few years were 195 to 200 to 205 to 210 - somewhere in that range. Yet CM is too small at 203 as a junior! This kid is probably going to be a 240+ kid who can play up or down. Will be interesting to follow his career.
If our staff thinks he will evenually play with his hand on the ground, they must expect him to gain weight. His father gained a lot of weight after his junior year of HS....saw him play a lot at Central of Pageland....lanky LB with long arms...Corey probably gained 40-50 pounds between his HS Jr year and his college Jr year.
I repeated what Tony said MrsLilAL.........Our staff doesnt want him.....bottom line.....
It's because our LB coach doesn't think he fits what we do. He's very tall and long, and we have basically two MLB's out there. Botkin doesn't think he will be good in the middle. We offered him as a rush end.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
A lot of people see Christian more as a 4-3 DE,which he would have to gain a lot of wright for, or a 3-4 OLB. They don't really see him as a 4-3 OLB.
I've actually been listening to Corey (until Heath at 4) since this has blown up and he says Christian is 215.
"People always ask me if I wish I were bigger. I tell them no. I always wanted to be a miniature badass." Dustin Pedroia
Guess the kid doesn't want to be a rush end then. Seems to me like you would offer him as a LB (if that 's what he wants to hear) and just let it play out. If in 3 years he's 6-4, 260 and not playing standing up, he'll play down to see the field.
Elliott "Small" Fry
Why doesn't the staff want him. The weight issue is obviously bogus. What's the real reason?
I don't think UF leads but have made a push. Lot of info out there from non Carolina sources that say we still have the advantage.
hes not a LB in our scheme.....6'4' LB......not sure there are that many of them...do u think he is gonna gain 60lbs to play DE?......I dont.........
It would be nice if there was a radio opening down there for a bankrupt ex-football player turned "pastor" with a fondness for grammatical redundancies like "on yesterday" and "on tomorrow" but they probably "never heard of him".
P sure we didn't offer Jacob Pugh as a lineman.
Same size ='s exact same player. Got it. Obviously, Botkin thinks one would be a good fit, and the other wouldn't. You could write him and offer your suggestions, though.
doesnt mean we would accept J Pugh's (or whoever he is) committment ......I dont really recall Tony ever mentioning him.....refresh me if u can.....
I posted his profile in this thread. 6'4 205 linebacker out of Florida with an offer as linebacker.
If our staff thinks Miller sucks or hates his dad, fine. Don't think it's being 6'4 though.
u and lilal just like to be b#tch.......go change your tampon...............

NO, but I think he was countering someone who said he weighed 235.
He is stiff and is more of a small DE than anything. We dont need undersized DEs, and we dont want him at LB.
