Malichi Goodman a 4.62 and 4.52. Meeks ran a 4.3 and 4.4
AND Dalton Freeman a 4.88! LOL
Taters are sucking it up as real.
The pros will chunk em out the window and use the combine numbers of nuk. 4.57
Former TBS photog coming out of retirement to do sand volleyball for my fans!
Anyone with a brain will find those numbers laughable.

It is embarassing how much they inflate forty times. Malichi ran a 4.52??? They cannot believe scouts are that stupid. Scouts watch film. Goodman is fairly athletic, but 4.52 means he could nearly outrun Ace.
They are fools that make themselves look dumber every day.
Spool I couldn't help but laugh when I saw those numbers released from today! Reality is not defined in the Clempson dictionary obviously.

"Jaron Brown ran 4.4 flat. That is a shocking number if accurate"
For those who don't know, Travis Sawchik is the beat writer for Clemson with the Post and Courier
It's not shocking. And it's not accurate.
Hopkins time seems like the only one that could be accurate. Did Ellington run, or is he still hurt?
Ellington is a lot like Ace. He's insanely quick, but is not a burner. I would bet he runs between a 4.5 -4.6. He's explosive, but he got ran down from behind a couple of times this year. Once by Aub's safety. He's a good RB. Quickness and burst is WAY more important than top end speed.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
The scouts will time them for themselves. So whatever "official" numbers that Clemson reports will be ignored and instead they will use the numbers timed by NFL scouts.
The NFL releases official times for pro days, too.
Hopkins had a 4.55 today.
Ellington will run March 29.
4.65 official time today for him.
Some of the draft bloggers say Hopkins has gotten bad advice. His agent had him bulk up 15 lbs over his playing weight and its showing.
"People always ask me if I wish I were bigger. I tell them no. I always wanted to be a miniature badass." Dustin Pedroia
Just another proof that everything released by clemson is pure fluff and spin.
I will tell you what if that country fried redneck Dalton Freeman ran a 4.88 one of those knuckleheads better go back to Big Lots and buy another Casio watch.
They don't run the 40 in Clemson, they run the 39 yard dash.
I suspect the timing system had a small bias in it to reflect lower times. All that matters on draft day are the NFL times. However, you must remember that cow dung odors make you run faster.
Clemson had one watch, and the NFL had the correct one. Those guys up there are worse that bagdad bob.
My son's message to Obama, Clemson, and Georgia
And yet, they still haven't beaten us in four years!
I think the inflated times help them appeal to recruits. Kids like to hear about crazy times. They probably tell them their conditioning program actually got their players down to those times. Once on campus the ridiculous times are released, adding to the (over)hype.
Except their times never hold up.
All times were run up the hill towards the rock according to dabo
they don't know how to count... someone should double check their 40 yd marker - probably closer to 35 yds
