that's a fail.
I was wondering about that. They took like 4 OL last year IIRC, and their line was young. They are going to be hurting in 2 years.
And Maverick Morris (if that is indeed his real name) is in very real danger of being eaten by Ty Crowder. So then there would only be one.
Meh. Remember what we heard in the lead up to our game from the Roy Philpott types? Having a big, physical OL is a thing of the past. Not important anymore. Clemson wants smaller, lighter guys to run their fast paced offense and besides, The Chad can easily scheme around any OL shortcomings.
So, signing 17 DB's>signing 5 good OL's.

Believe they have - including Crowder - 18 OL on their roster so numbers aren't the issue. Talent and development seems to be the issue.
That is how they choose to do things. Their OL was better than I thought it was going to be, but I thought it was going to be a joke. They could not pass protect against us at all, obviously, and it wasn't just Clowney they could not block. They did run it a little better. They will pay a price for doing things the way they do them, though.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
He should be more worried about Region.
That's true but I'd say we learned the hard way that you'd better bring in a steady diet of OL's every single year because they are hard to predict. Just having 18 on the roster doesn't mean you'll have 5 that are worth a crap.
Still, I guess there is a point in which you can't devote but so much of your roster to that one position group.
Here's hoping that they have about 16 stiffs in that bunch.
Then Crowder is eaten by Spencer Region, further depleting Clemson's OL depth.

Little hand says it's time to rock and roll.
What if Region and Crowder try to eat each other at the same time? Would it just come down to who's mouth is bigger?
They plan on converting some of those wr's into big uglies:)
somehow they have 9 freshmen listed on their roster at OL. I didn't think they had recruited that many, though some are converted DL (Joe Gore, for one), and some are redshirts. Depending on how many of those Robbie Caldwell got to recruit, they might not be terrible on the OL in a couple years. I doubt they'll be on our level, but they won't be looking for DT's to convert during spring practice like they did last year.
I also don't have time to teach you how to speak hobo.
