please don't go crazy on this board, i can tell you that christian is not going out of state to play football. corey can't afford to travel every week to these far off places. i will leave it at that.
I hope we get him, I think he's got a role as a wde for us. Won't be immediate impact, but will be a player.
So he's going to Clemson??
If Christian comes here he will be the second most controversial player of all time and it will be only because of his last name. I fell really bad for him with the way some of the people on here talk about the situation. Thankfully I do not listen to Corey's radio show so I really have no opinion on the matter.
All he's gotta do is go to Auburn or Ole Miss. They'll cover any travel expenses incurred.
If Christian wants to come here and that's what he wants to do in his heart, then I will be glad to have him. I want players who want to be at USC. His Dad just needs to accept that the fact that there will be no special treatment if somehow Christian ends up here. He isn't going to Clemson.

can someone give me cliff notes on this? tia
Same here, I don't listen to radio programs. I take is Corey Miller wants USC to show more love towards his son or something?
Right now it looks like he's headed for UGA but a lot can happen between now and Signing Day. Corey has told him its his decision and he will support him regardless. The kid likes Ward a lot but we have to do a better job of showing him love regardless of how you feel about Corey. Say what you will, but Corey is a Gamecock who doesn't always agree with the coaches and university on certain issues and he speaks his mind.
Corey is not happy with coaching staff. That is evident by his comments right now. He feels like Christian was disrespected by not being invited by Carolina coaching staff to junior day.

Travel arrangements will not be a problem. Ask Michael Hills dad, big programs can slip that stuff under the radar. He's got quite a few round trip tickets to Columbus for next season that he didn't pay for.
Yeah but from what I have heard he is son's own worst enemy by constantly stirring the pot publically about USC. Personally I wish he stays and plays for his states university… but the one thing that has been consistently gotten better is the team chemistry over the last few years. No drama makes for better focus and team character.
Corey isn't a Botkin fan from the sounds of it.
The absolute worst case scenario is that he commits to SCar and we don't want to take him. With an in state kid, and especially one with an alum dad with a high profile, We better be damn sure we want him if we flirt hard with him at all. Our coaches aren't convinced and they don't want to play with fire here. It's the right move.

I think you are wrong.
I think Corey wants us to treat him like Alabama and Florida are treating him.
I'm not saying Corey has handled this properly.
But it doesn't seem like we have either
He's a Top 50-100 talent in the country who JC puts at the top 3 at his position and we can't make him among 40 invites to Junior Day? I keep hearing our Class of 2014 is gonna be awesome. Can't wait to see it.
As far as qualifying, again according to JC, he's a 4.0 student so my guess will be he'll go ahead and take the full ride to Bama, Florida or UGa instead of waiting around and following your advice.
