Thanks JW. Really excited about Opening Day. Not much longer.
Whittle...with the possibility of inclement weather Friday afternoon, do you see a postponement until Saturday ? Thanks
You know how you tell it's baseball season? Cold, snow, and ice.
Happens every year, at least the cold part. Every year. At least that was my experience in high school for many years. The worst was one year when our head baseball coach screwed up and broke a pre-season practice rule and caused us to wait an extra week to start. This would've been back in the late 90s or maybe 2000. The first week, while we sat out, was nice. 60s and sunny. The next week, when we were supposed to begin, it snowed and we couldn't get on the field all week. Karma.
One thing everyone will realize (or remember) real quick is I don't predict the weather. I never predict whether rain is coming, whether there will be a delay or postponement. I don't have any idea what the forecast even calls for except cold. I'll be there until I'm told not to be there. As soon as we're told not to be there, I'll pass it along.
