Sound is not too good, but Dabo is still a jerk. Dabo never listens to officer and does try to turn it into a fan fest. I hope this continues to get some national attention to expose the act which is CLemson
What a blatant disregard for the law. Can it get anymore pompous than this guy. He's making calls signing autographs.
My son's message to Obama, Clemson, and Georgia
Didn't see too much from Abo that bothered me. He acted put out with the cop, but didn't berate him. Maybe he should have stayed in the car, but it was no big deal and the officer didn't tell him repeatedly to get in the truck. He obviously wasn't endangering the cop. If the mayor did call, that's small town for you.
On the other hand, his brother is an
imbecile. For starters, Abo needs to buy
him a new shirt. That thing is hideous. Secondly, I can't think of any reason why his brother would, as former law enforcement, be disappointed in the officer UNLESS he thinks his meal ticket should have been let go because of who he is.
Abo needs to tell his brother to quit acting like a dumb redneck OR needs to tell him to quit telling folks he is his brother!
Just so you know
The more this stuff is posted the harder it's gonna be on the officer to find new employment in The Upstate
Pretty much how I saw it
Well whose fault is that?
Too bad the audio was not better.
I think the more it gets viewed, the more questions that will be asked. I hope someone ask him about it tonight before their big game.
the cop got caught up in message boards and i guess thought it would be cool to one time be the "source" of information to online personalities he'll never meet in real life.
how on earth can you get out of the car and walk up to a patrol car? that officer was more than kind.
I think this could get ugly if the officer wanted to push it. The mayor and police chief should be questioned. They fired a guy on a technicality that I would be willing to bet he is not the first to break the policy. A recently promoted employee also shows he has been a good employee, but we are talking about the upstate.
Just as I remember it in the John Wayne movie, The Shootist. He meets with Richard Boone who is playing a Swinney. As Boone drives away, Wayne says, " Just as I remember those Swinneys mean and ugly."
it is PUBLIC information; i don't see how they could fire the guy.
he was supposedly fired for using company computers to post on TBS, not for releasing info of the situation.
From what I understand they fired him for using department computers to make his post. They are stating that is against policy, but like I said earlier I would make a large bet he is not the first employee to break that policy. I would be very interested to see if any other employees have been fired for breaking that policy.
Better hope that big ass horse you are riding doesn't get out from under you. That long fall will hurt.
