and was quoted speaking about the Chik Fil A bowl
He also said that "To play a top-ten, a national championship quality team, it'll be an exciting evening. They were just a few plays away from playing for the (National Championship) again this year. I truly believe this (LSU-Clemson matchup) is a BCS-type bowl".
I agree with abo... this matchup is a lot like FSU-Northern Illinois and Florida vs Louisville, or Clemson vs WVA. Blowouts waiting to happen.

Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
I will definitely be rooting for LSU in a total blowout/shutout.
Their defense is like ours, clemson will be stifled and this game will be so much fun to watch. It will be on the top of my watch list right under our bowl game.
"BCS-type bowl". Guess Dabo's not above making stuff up, either.
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
I have seen that talk all over Clempson sites as well. That this game somehow is a preview of things to come once Chick-bowl when it becomes a BCS bowl.
Clemson fans also seem to be of the opinion that the competition that the SEC make available is not good enough and that this bowl should be #3 instead #5/#6 bowl for the SEC.
The bowl wins are tied as it is now (10 each for the ACC/SEC), then why in the world would the the bowl want a higher ranked SEC team? Absolutely ridiculous.
"Like a BCS bowl" must be the new catch phrase up there... they seem to do that a lot. A week ago it was "rythm". Who knows what the idiot will come up with next. What a clown!!

My wife is a Clemson grad and hates Les Miles. Nevertheless, she's pulling for LSU and hoping it's a beatdown. I love that about her.
BCS means---- Blowout Clemsux Series
He's going to need a larger rock after LSU gets done with him.
Two grand boys, Two state championships. 5-peat USC
I was pulling for Abbeville the other day, down here in th lowcountry, had to educate a few folks on where Abbeville was, and what they were all about. I'm from Greenwood originally, another state title on Sat. I know the Creek wasn't eligible, but it is what it is.
playing top ten teams doesn't work out well for Dabo. He must think BCS= Beating Clemson Silly.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.
For the first time ever I agreed with Pollack's as a so called "expert" when he commented last night on how LSU will break the Clemson Offense in half. He even gave props to Carolina's D on how they were able to disrupt and keep Taj Mahal in check.. Reason being is that South Carolina showed LSU the blueprint for beating Clempson. They will be playing in the Georgia Dome and will want to make a statement since that have been there in a couple years. The speed of LSU D especially the DE's on astro turf will hammer LSU.
Thanks, it's hard to play against schools That recruit players from all over the East coast but with the politics that are involved public schools will just have to adjust. Proud of Greenwood though.
BCS = Beat Clemsux Severely
