That's not the point anyone is making. We all know he's overrated. If he goes now, he can get drafted make some money. The fact is, media and some scouts like him because of the #'s he puts up, but his stock will never be any higher, period.

Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
There is Shon Carson also.

Plus, it is a weak QB class and Boyd's stock cannot go much higher, as another poster typed.
But, somehow (win-wink), Dilbert and iptay are able to convince players to stay longer which often does not work out well for those guys (just ask Aaron Kelly). We all know that Dilbert displays favoritism so I bet there are several players envious of Speed Weed and have grown tired of the BS there.
Whatever he wants or wanted.......
I don't think a single thing in your post will come to fruition,
other than the afterthought thought, which has already happened.
We shall see.
IMO Boyd won't get drafted. he is both too short and just not very good. He will be back at clemp (good for us)
Funny thing is...it doesn't really matter what they do, we'll beat them either way...with or without them.
i am more sure about us winning next year, than i have been on any of the previous 4. clowney said we would not lose to clemson as long as he was there. i believe him
I wonder how much last night changes Boyd's thinking. He's a great college QB against most teams and he has a future in the NFL in some capacity. But his draft stock took a hit last night. The scouts had been waiting to see how he would handle pressure, and they saw how that turned out -- same as last year.
Can't say. Gotta protect the source. Ha!

This. The kid isn't terrible. He can make some good throws, and throws the deep well (the pass to Hopkins was very good last night), and he's much more mobile this year than last, but he has no mental toughness. If you hit him, you rattle him. He impresses scouts with his quickness and arm strength, but he isn't mentally ready, nor do I ever think he will be. And he's not very accurate on intermediate passes. But with that said if he does goes pro this year then he might be a top 2 round pick. Can't ask for much more than that if you're 22 years old.
You mean they are not going to stay for the new car and bonus check for staying there senior year
I don't understand why the NCAA isn't looking into Clemson. I know I'm biased, but there have been a lot of red flags from player quotes about the financial benefits of going to Clemson
Not sure if you are being serious. A qb that cannot perform under pressure is worthless in the NFL.
Jimmy Clausen, Brady Quinn, Matt Barkley, all say hi!
