Calm down folks. We played Wofford and play our in-state rival next week, we came out flat and won. Are you guys so far removed from Navy last year or Wofford a few years back? We struggle against teams like that. We struggled vs. Navy and we beat Clemson by how many points last year? You're going to see a completely different team next weekend. It'll be the team that stomped UGA into the ground. Guaranteed.
Couldn't agree more.
Don't see us beating Clemson. We haven't played well since georgia
It looks like to me that Shaw playing at around 70% right now. It's obvious he is having trouble planting and throwing when on the move. Also he is definitely a step slower from the acceleration point. Seems fine when in the open field running but the explosive first step is off. Kenny & Mike need a big game next week IMO for manageable 3rd downs. Just my opinion.. which doesn't mean anything. I still think they can win but not as confident as last year.
I agree we need to be able to run the ball and we will. I honestly believe we beat CU even if we had to start Dylan. We're tougher, more physical, and battle tested. They haven't played anyone with the speed AND physicality we possess. It's going to shock them again.
We saw a glimpse of this tonight. Boyd was getting pressured, the play calls did a 180 and NCST scored 21 unanswered.
Difference next week will be that the pressure will be constant and we will not just give them the little flat passes.
After watching the taters defense tonight, our tight ends could have a field day down the middle next week
Yep...many of us agree but will the play be called and will the QB have enough time to throw and when he does, will he let it sling?
Connor has lost some speed around the corners but he still manages to find a way. The thing that haunts me is the protection he lacks from the OL and his reluctance to let it go. I'm not privy to the field so I'm not sure if the receivers are running great routes or not.
I'm happy we've been able to pull off the wins but something in our Offense just doesn't seem right. I'm no expert but the feeling I have is one of unsettledness. Of course, I could be just full of hot air here too...
mmm mmm mmm "South Carolina Gamecocks" Good
A bigger dominant go-to WR that has been the outlet the last three years.
