This is horrific to watch.
Yes, they do teach defense in the ACC. It is not a required subject though, and most athletes have their tutors do all the homework. That doesn't translate well to the field unfortunately;)
FSU is #2 in the nation in total defense, so I'm guessing they do
Look at who they have put up those "impressive" defensive numbers against.

So you agree then they're impressive. I rest my case.
No..unless you think their opponents are impressive, which they are not.
I rest my case.
Go pimp the ACC somewhere else.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
The accuracy of these qbs would make any defense look good...
Why waste any energy on this Clemturd?
Been watch'n this Miami/Va. Tech game too...there should be a law against this on Thursday night TV.
I keep switch'n over to Rocky 2, then come back think'n it might be better when I return....NOT.
Nope...there has never been a claim to defense in the ACC....ever. If there was it was a lie.
The acc is just bad, boring, bad football. You have a collection of sorry teams with a couple at the top who have a few elite athletes that none of the 5'6" 160 pound DB's on all the other teams can cover so they just throw it up and score every other drive.
The acc is garbage.
All you need in the ACC is a defense and the best kicker and you would be on your way to Charlotte.
Well, I listened to tater Pete Yannity yesterday on the radio in Charlotte giving his weekly tater report. He was lauding the progress the Clemson defense was making. Talked about how stout they were getting. As evidence he pointed to their effort against Wake Forest. No I'm not making that up. Because they were on point against Wake Forest they suddenly have a good defense. Laughable. It honestly is shocking how horrible that league is. Outside of FSU and Clemson it is a league of teams that range from bad to abject garbage.
Pretty much sums up FSU.
I have seen better play and bigger crowds at high school games this year......Sad really and what is funny is that the ACC guys (many) won't even admit how bad it is.
Last night's awful game was further proof of how the EZZ has watered down formerly strong programs in football. The same will happen to ND, and it's not like Pitt and Syracuse are football powers anymore. They should pay us to watch those games on Thursday nights.
They teach a version of defense in the EZZ that has been referred to as 'soft', or elementary school-prissy girl defense. That same style is starting to catch on in the Big12 as well. clempsun feels this 'soft', or 'school girl' style defense puts to much risk to their offense in practice, and has gone to a less aggressive style of defense that is similar to the players taking a nap, in order to cut down on injuries to their skill players.
West Virginia just scored again!
