suck. I watched the game again last night and it makes me feel better about us beating them because I think they are a pretty good team. Also doing it at their place at night makes it even more impressive. I bet they would give a lot of good teams fits under the same circumstances. I really do believe our victory is more about how good we are than how bad they are. And no i am not agreeing with a lot of their fans that think they just about beat us. Cunnighingham dropped a couple of big passes also and although DT played very well he missed a couple of wide open receivers.

Clemson is definitely a good team. Regardless of the conference you don't win 10 if you're bad. I think their most talented players are concentrated in just a few position groups while ours are spread out. It was a good win for us.
No. They suck. Defense is horrible. Offense is made susceptible because of a weak D. OL is a sieve. It neither helps or hurts us how good or bad clem is. We play in the SEC. Won 6 of 8. Nuff said. I hope they suck so bad in the future they get downgraded to FBS status. LOL! Have a great Christmas AKC!
Former TBS photog coming out of retirement to do sand volleyball for my fans!
Lol...same to you.
I agree that currently they are a good team BUT I can fast see them approaching as nothing more than a team like Vandy or Kentucky or Duke or Wake Forest
Seems hard to believe they would drop that far, although Vandy would give them a game now. I think they're set at WR and McDowell is a good back. The OL is untalented, but outside of center they should improve marginally as the kids get older. So, will the defense improve? It's not looking good for them. They had 2 big time DEs decommit and their backers have been flops so far.
Unless some ACC teams improve I see much of the same. Now, if the Kelley kid is a bust at QB they are screwed.
Always wondered the same thing - according to some on this site GA sucks and Clemson sucks. Therefore, it follows, we have zero quality wins this season.
A win is a win is a win. Four in a row still counts, just ask the Clemmers, who still count their wins in the Brad Scott era.
I would celebrate a win over those turds if they were 0-11 when we played them.
I also don't have time to teach you how to speak hobo.
UGA and CU both benefited from weak a$$ schedules. Simple fact. I don't think UGA beats LSU which takes them out og the SECCG and Clemson would have lost to UGA, UF, LSU(they will anyway) and I think Vandy would have given them a fight and probably would have won because CU's defense is so bad. So that is 8-4 at best with our schedule. Not a bad year, though a team like Mizzou might have gotten in a shootout type game. So it could be a weak 8-4.
Elliott "Small" Fry
Georgia is a good team. LSU is a good team. Florida is a good team. Clemson is not a good team. They only gave that appearance because of the weakness of their opponents.
Nevertheless, going into their place, at night, with a BCS bid for them perhaps riding on the outcome and their fans howling for blood, and winning going away like we did, is a praiseworthy accomplishment.
Nah, they are an okay team"acc good". Probably 500have in SEC. Its an instate rivalry important during recruiting and when I talk to taters
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.
Jefe, I agree with you although I don't see McDowell starting for them. I think Dye will pass him next year.
Pretending your wins are better than they are doesn't really make it so.
Clemson was a decent team, not a particularly good one.
We were good, not great. IMO.
naw bud, clemson ain't worth a darn, we made them look like a deer in the hedlight!
They are a decent team, but soft.
Soft teams with good skill players can score a lot of points against inferior teams, but we know what happens when they finally play a team that is good along the LOS.
IMAZ 08 IMFL 08 IMKY 11 IMNY 12 IMTX 13
Good point. Dye certainly had more upside.
I hope LSU beats the ever loving crap out of them!
i hope by the end of the first quarter, clemson's defensive players will pounded to the point that instead of tackling, they will be trying to get out of the way.
Not the way I see it. A win against Clemson is to be treasured irrespective of the quality of their team.
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
AKC, we should have had 2 more touchdowns in the game. Clemson sucks and so do SEC refs.

It does not matter to me what others think of our victory as long as we beat them.
They will always suck. Period.
They suck...are overrated and beat a bunch of crap teams. I could not care less about downgrading our win over a weak ACC team...they suck.
Many of you guys thought they would beat us, and some of you were having fits when Thompson was announced as the starter. smh Give our guys some credit. We took down a team that had a QB in the top 5. If we had one with Boyd's rating, we'd be touting him as the Second Coming.
