Good point jimcmarshall. He'd be closer to home and SCSU does have a reputation for putting a few kids into the NFL in the past. I doubt that is a consideration (Mack to the NFL) but you never know. He might blow up with a change of scenery.
We were involved with blakely as well I recall
No. It was Elliott and he had just been hired when Mack came in for his official.
We can't continue to give these recruits free passes simple because they are young men. The problem with Generation Me is youth has become the excuse for poor behavior, lack of humanitarianism, and dispicable citizenship. We have allowed teenagers to get dictate the way things are and should be yet not giving them the experience to have such privileges. Eric Mack is just one name in the long list of people that have handled a part of their life poorly, however he was never held accountable for his poor actions. On the contrary, he was rewarded with a scholarship, gifts, meal money, etc. everybody else is held accountable for poor choices, whether it be divorce, loss of income, jail, loneliness, etc, except recruits get a free pass. Shame on us!
Now I do wish Eric Mack the best, but I will never say they are just kids or young men!
I honestly think Wages was the cause.
Would he qualify as one of those street agents?
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
Blah blah blah. I think Mack is a putz too but enough with the generalization of 25 million people. Teenagers have been idiots as long as there have been teenagers. There's nothing special or uniquely degraded about this group, save the technology they are given.
the definition of irony needs to be changed to include: eric mack chose auburn over sc due to it being too dangerous in five points for an athlete
Also lol at you defending Eric Mack, who is a tool that snubbed USC; and loving Garcia unconditionally, who partied his way off the team in the middle of a season; but bagging Connor Shaw every opportunity you get.
I agree with you WKJ_JR, and I also wonder what part of this is Mack getting a free pass? The guy was told he was an NFL HERO going to Auburn to win 3 nattys and then make a gazillion dollars and instead he's out of school without a degree more than likely. I am missing the free pass part of that story.
She's definitely got a weakness for the "bad boys"! :)
