curious why the spots in Premium North don't have a tent zone, and if you could still set a tent up. Where is the tent zone on all the other spots? In the grass?
They also say all the Fairgrounds spots have no tent zone, and I think people still use tents over there....
I haven't heard that but hopefully that's not the case. Was hoping to move over there when I select. You're right about the fairgrounds. Lots of tents everywhere. Hopefully its a misprint for the farmer's market. On side note it's looking quite good over there. Lots of progress. I'm just worried my selection will be too late to get one. Not sure when parking selection starts. Believe I select parking 6/22. Think tickets begin Monday.
The only places in the new farmers market marked no tent is premium north. I just wonder what the big difference in premium north vs premium south, etc
Agree Jerry. If you hear, please post. I'll do the same. Am very interested as well.
The premium spots will have access to big tents that are catered.
Where did you see that? Not doubting you, just very interested.
Rode by there today and it's going to be very nice.
Certain spots in the premium north do not have tents zones. They are the ones that are back-to-back with no green area between them. The three spots I got in the north area yesterday morning all have tent zones.
Hope this helps.

I haven't heard this. Could be a nice perk if true. I probably wouldn't use it though.
Will they have a video board at the Farmers Market?
I also haven't heard this, and I'm not sure it is accurate. At a minimum, I don't think it will be free.
What exactly is a tent zone? From the map, some of the ones marked no tent look like there might be some room, just not 10 by 10 of grassy area. the ones in the culdesac particularly. Curious if there will be a fence right behind those spots.
I'll have one in the back of my suburban
Those spots are actually 10 x 20 vs 10 x 18.5 to help accommodate a tent to the rear of the vehicle without fully obstructing traffic flow.
I guess you need to bring a short car. Wouldn't help with a suburban
Once everyone gets to the culdesac, you should be fine, but we know at least one person will arrive just before game time and ruin it for everyone. If the short guy that thinks he is in charge of the old farmers market is still riding around enforcing the "rules"..........and he tries to tell me that my tent in the culdesac is blocking the lane and the fire marshall requires me to move, we might as well just get it over with on the first game and beat that guy down
Anyone know where to buy a 1.5 foot wide tent?
You can actually fit a full 9x9 in those spots because the traffic lane is wider than normal and the adjacent spots have tent zones to the front. There are only 2 rows that may be problematic.
I'll let yo know if I find a 1.5 foot tent.
Bax, lets get a patent on that 1.5 foot tent
any thoughts on traffic flow?
it looks like there are only 2 entrances/exits for about 3,000
(plus you can only turn right when leaving which is not good)
It was the same the last few years. A breeze getting in nightmare getting out. Maybe they will make some changes to the traffic pattern now that they are moving some big donors over there
thx. am used to fairgrounds ... and am debating the merits of moving in to the new digs
the online plans and lack of exits make it seem like it could be a long wait getting out of there
and the "have to turn right" exit setup will add another 20 or so minutes onto my trip home
not a big deal; but not sure if its going to be worth the $200 or so more bucks if its going to be more of a hassle than the fairgrounds
do we know how many hours prior to gametime the band will be marching thru?
i see the permanent restrooms but don't really care about those
any other perks worth coming over for?
My buddy and I are wondering if any of you high-rollers with a ton of points wish to sell your parking? We've been in the club for over a decade at HS and only have 162 points each.
