Go Gamecocks !!!
Yes, Clemson to Sugar now according to Tigernet. Man those guys over there are amazing analyst on the college football scene. This loss now equates to the SEC being an average conference. It also seems that TAM's offense beating BAMA means that defense no longer wins championships. Pretty good reading... Still hope on good bowl... 2 SEC schools could still be selected.
Guys, you dont think they would have chose LSU anyway if we were fortunate to win out?
When did the sugar start taking a ACC school? I thought it was SEC and big 12 or other conference not acc
I wouldn't thank Bama, we controlled our own destiny.
Looks like the SEC run of National Titles is about to end...unless a few teams lose in the next couple of weeks.
I was having some mixed emotions...should I root for Bama and then watch them win 3 of 4 National Titles, or hope they actually lose. Winning would give Saban an even bigger advantage in recruiting. We should know how that works as our Baseball Team gets lots of good recruits due to their winning 2 and playing in 3 Title games in a row.
As much as I want the SEC to win the National Title again, I just don't think I could stomach Saban gaining a bigger advantage then he already has.
IMO all Bama needs is one of K St, Oregon, or ND to lose and they will still have a shot.
not over yet for 7 straight
i think they would have been really tempted to take us. the bowls like to get new teams mixed in. would be smart to take us if we were eligible. nice story with spurrier getting us to a bcs bowl plus we would flock to new orleans. they will have lsu pretty often anyways. think we had a really good shot if bama got in mnc and everyone else had 2 losses. now we need uf, uga, and probably 2 of nd, oregon, and ksu to take another loss.
Sugar takes SEC & one at-large.Last year had to take Vag Tech as "at large" 'cause other BCS bowls had filled quota of 2 teams allowed per conference
"I wouldn't trade the dirt under his (Roche's) fingernails for anyone else's soul"~ Coach Frank McGuire
that is exactly my thinking too. And even if they don't make mnc game sec will still get 2 bcs berths I feel sure
Bama is not getting in over a an undefeated team from a BCS conference. No way. If they do, I think even SEC people will start buying into the conspiracy theories. One loss Bama does not deserve to go before an undefeated team.
