Today and hearing Boyd is going pro. Anyone else hearing this ?
believe that when I see it.....
He is announcing that he is staying. This is just a PR stunt to hype Boyd for a heisman campaign.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was Dabo's idea.

I work with a former Clemson O-lineman and he was told last night that Nuke and Boyd are gone. That said I know without a doubt that the conference will be to announce they had agreed to a one year contract extension and will remain in school. In the end it will be all about the money and CU can out pay the NFL.
Exactly, however nuk is expected to announce today to forego his sr season
I picture this conference happening with Clowney, Swearinger, and the rest of the wrecking crew standing in the back of the room smiling.
Don't be duped. This is nothing but a staged attempt to build up "suspense" so that everyone can be run around talking about Tajh being the "most important" recruit they have this year, blah, blah, blah. They will also make this his kickoff to his 2013 heisman campaign and their beginning run to the National Championship. Ole blabo will be over there grinning from ear to ear and the reporters will "force" (sarcasm) him to have to answer some questions. He will act like he doesn't want to take away from Tajh's "big day." It's sickening, but this script is ingrained up there and they follow it just about every year. Hope ole Tajh remembers some of those who it has not worked out for coming back. As a Gamecock fan though, I could care less. When he comes back to Willy B and sees #7 and the rest of that defense he'll shat the bed again!
worked so well for parker...
He is not going anywhere. He will come to Columbia next year and lose again. Can't wait.
I heard that they would also be using the PC as a chance for Dabo to present himself with the freakin' Chick-Fil-A National Championship Trophy.
They say that teams take on the persona of their head coach, and this seems to be one of the perfect examples of that. It is completely unnecessary to have a press conference to announce that a player is staying for his senior year, but leave it to the Fighting Dabos to create a suspenseful build-up for a decision that great players make every day during December and January.
I think we all know the results of these pressers in advance...
They had a team meeting yesterday and Boyd was there but Nuk was not.
He's kind of like Erin Murray to me, I don't view it as a bad thing if he stays. Nuk is very good, though. I'm with Spurrier in that Nuk could easily be argued as the best WR in the game right now. I just don't think Nuk is going to run a very good 40 time at all. He looks like he'll run around a 4.7 to me, but sometimes guys look slower than they are. Gilmore had a weird stride, and didn't look like a 4.3 guy.
Watching that LSU game made me realize just how smart Whammy is. He knows something John Chavis doesn't about stopping that offense.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
They will also be awarding themselves a replica of the Coaches trophy since they are the National Champs in their own mind.
Dabo announcing their NC next year.
Why wouldnt you do this if youre Clemson or whoever? 3rd round projection that decides to come back is a positive thing. It also gives the player some spotlight and attention.
He'd be an idiot to stay with all the other QBs staying as well. He'll make more money coming out this year than he ever will. He may go first round due to the lack of QB talent in the draft. All he's got to do is sign one good contract, and then he can show the world how good he is not. But again, he'd be stupid to stay. His stock will not get any higher than it already is.
You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
Unneeded spotlight and attention. It makes them look desperate for attention. Its sad. He's not Tebow or Clowney or Lattimore or Bush or Leinart. Hell, he's not even Aaron Murray or Matt Barkely. He's Tajh Boyd. No one cares outside of the state of SC and other ACC states.

Cant believe your defending a p c to announce a sr is playing. Stupid, like another signee pc. Cu is about the only achool to hold a pc to announce that a player is playing host. Did you see murray announcing in this fashion? Typical dabo silliness. Get your publicity by beating more than one ranked team, not stupidity like this or hollering fricken into a mocrophone after a peach bowl win.

agree.....Dabo just wants to say we got friggin Greatness in us again.....what a clown.....
I am still sitting here waiting for Ace's PC where he announced that he was staying to come online.
I hope that the school make sure that SOS is there and can talk to everyone.
Oh.... Wait. Never mind, he did this on his own using Instagram.

Boyd is stupid to stay. His stock went up after the LSU game and it is a down year for QB's in the draft and there are several teams that need one. If he stays and has a bad year or get's hurt then he loses a lot of money. Good year to jump ship IMO.
Sos isnt as stupid as dabo.
