Bahahahaha Urban meyer turned down notre Dame for Florida, he was one of the hottest young coaching prospects in the last 20 years, he could have had any job he wanted. Petrino a midmajor coach?? Are you on crack? He was at Louisville, which has been in the big east since 05 prior to being hired by the atlanta freaking falcons

The fact that he was highly sought by ND and Florida (he actually accepted the ND job but didn't sign a contract there) doesn't mitigate the fact that Meyer came from two mid majors before that. Can you imagine how the local hillbillies would have screamed if we hired a coach from Utah?

Louisville is definitely a mid major as are other schools in their conference. They were conference USA duting Petrino's first two years there. Nothing screams mid major like Conference USA. Petrino didn't last a year in Atlanta. How can you say that was a positive for Arky in hiring him.

"REDICULOUS". As the non-spellers here might say.
