Was thinking today about ways to honor/motivate/support Marcus and was wondering yalls thoughts.....
Every month on the 21st....Gamecock fans wear Garnet, fly your car flags, ect....Do this until Marcus carries the ball again. That might be for the Chicago Bears in 2014, or it could be the season opener next year vs UNC.
Most people feel support when they are in turmoil from loved one's. When you lose a relative, or something many people reach out to you initially. The on-going support down the road and having people check up on you can be just as impactful.
Think flying them on the 21st of every month, wearing the garnet would be a constant reminder for Marcus that Gamecock fans are behind him, support him to keep his head up, keep working hard, and to come back running harder than ever.
I think we should egg Bowers house on the 21st of every month.
Good post btw

I am a huge Marcus Lattimore fan but this might be going a little overboard. He's not dead or dying. He's injured and he's got a long road of rehab and recovery ahead of him. I would think notes of encouragement and pats on the back when we see him is enough. He'll know how much we love him from the ovation he'll receive the next time he's on the sidelines of a home game.
A Lattimore tradition originated by a Clemson fan. Wonderful.
does Bowers have a house? Can you get a house with low-round money? Did Dabo subsidize the purchase since he cost Bowers dozens of draft slots?
Thank you for the idea. I think it is a good one. Even if he is going to play again, having that reminder that you never know what will happen that also serves as an homage to an exceptional human being is never a bad thing.
You may run like Hayes, but you hit like $*!#
Good post, Woodrow. If it would catch on, it would be very nice to do something like that.
I saw a LOT of 21 jerseys at school today. Say what you will about wearing jerseys, but it is perfectly fine in this instance, imo. Maybe Stevecook can clarify.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
How about nameing a walk way or instead of the Carolina Walk we rename it Lattimore Way or Lattimore Run.
