Good news, Shaw is a coach's son-makes him a good leader, gritty, makes good decisions - bad news, Shaw is a coach's son who does not want make a mistake and feels he has to make plays with his feet, not his head/arm. Our ability to be more consistent, use the whole playbook and go from being a pretty good team to a great team depends on Shaw's learning to take his steps, read the defense, throw the ball and throw it accurately. Until this happens, moving to the next level may not ever come to pass, no pun intended.

Short guy throwing to short guys, u see where I'm going
"People always ask me if I wish I were bigger. I tell them no. I always wanted to be a miniature badass." Dustin Pedroia
That's a fair statement.
As a true junior at Purdue - three years out of HS - Drew Brees passed for 3909 yards and 25 TDs. He completed 60% of his passes. He was All Big Ten and finished 4th in the Heisman voting.
Now, how did Drew Brees do it?
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
but, was he a coaches son?
His dad was an attorney.
This. Don't understand Spurrier's preference for smaller Qb's. Its been said he prefers them to be 6-1 or 6-2. Doesnt make any sense to me. Gimme a 6-5 guy with a rocket arm.
I doubt Spurrier had a thing to do with Shaw's evaluation.
I hate this excuse... Drew Brees, Russel Wilson, Johnny Manzel, Aaron Murray... Height is the lamest excuse, you either are a QB or you aren't, simple as that.
LOL at shaw "holding us hostage". He's the best quarterback we've had since Spurrier's been here. He's not perfect and hes not elite but you're out in left field with this crap.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
