Georgia WR Michael Bennett, who y'all may remember tore his ACL in practice the week of the South Carolina game, spoke to media for first time tonight since the injury.
Bennett said that he received a text of support from Marcus Lattimore (the week of the game!) after he hurt his knee. Class act from a class guy right there.
“I’d never talked to him before,” Bennett said, “but he texted me and just gave me some encouraging words, just told me, ‘Rehab is really long,’ and everything. Then two weeks later, he totally destroys his knee. When he did that, it really tore me up to see him go down like that, because he’s such a great guy, and he has respect of everyone around the conference.”
Just thought y'all would want to know that ...
