Really getting tired of all the baby diaper blue love in baseball every year. Is any program more overrated every year than the Tar Holes?? Rogers also tweeted that Mike Fox is one of the most impressive coaches in the country because he has taken his teams to Omaha 5 of the last 7 years. How about playing in the National Championship series three straight years and actually winning the series once you play in it. Now that is impressive!

Remind me again when did the ACC win its last NC in Baseball?
Is any program more overrated? GT comes to mind.
And Holbrook was there for 2 of the times, and they went to the NC game then. He's the reason they went, because of his recruiting. We got him now, and UNC is a bunch of over rated losers.
As proof to your point: Max Schrock, who Whittle predicts as the best freshman in the SEC this coming year, is from Chapel Hole. How funny is that? He's a yardcock. Even he didn't want to go play for the team that is literally in his backyard! Ha!
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
Most overrated programs in college baseball on an annual basis:
1. North Carolina
2. Georgia Tech
3. Florida State
Go figure, all ACC teams and WAKE FOREST was the last ACC school to win the NC back in 1955!
Shrock knew if he went to UNC the only people that would watch him play would literally only be his parents. For as much success as they have had nobody shows up for games. Maybe if they did a basketball oriented seventh inning stretch folks might show up.
Fox has a right to complain. They have a nice stadium, solid program, and no admin support. They averaged less than 1500 p/game last year. It really shows when their away attendance is more than double that in 2012. I asked a Hole about this recently, why they couldn't they support their program? He gave me a bs answer saying there was too many other things to do in Chapel Hill and the baseball audience was split between the minor league teams, blah, blah, etc. It was then I realized that he had no clue...

According to our championship shirts it was 1955, so far back that it was even before the USA had 50 states. By the way it was Weak Florist and not his freaking tar holes. Additionally what have they done without Holbrook? What have we done since he came here? I think the record speaks for itself. Every year the asheshe gets pumped up more than a abo sweeny 1/2 star recruit, and every year the choke. Sometimes it takes longer then others, but they always choke.
34-17, 4-3, 7-1, 29-7, 34-13 ALL STOP!!! It's a GREAT TIME TO BE A GAMECOCK! Back 2 Back Natty's! DOMINATION By GAMECOCK NATION!
He picks them every year it seems like....and on paper they look good about every year. They just end up choking on the big stage.
I tried to use CBS All access to watch a Wednesday ECU @ unc baseball game last year. (I have the full version to watch home & away SC Games). I found unc does not have All access for any baseball games, not even acc games. But, the have it for women's Volleyball.
That is funny. To be fair, the people in chapel hole probably do not know they have a college baseball team.
The list of things they do know about other then their beloved basketball tar holes would be a much shorter list IMO. Just sayin'!
Kendall Rogers gives us plenty of positive press though. What they have done is impressive, compared to almost every other program in the country. Just not so much when compared to us.
Anyway - I like Kendall and think he does a great job promoting college baseball.
he has said the same thing before. if he keeps saying it long enough, it might come true. that will make him a prognosticator extraordinaire
I wouldn't consider them overrated - they've been pretty stout for several years now and have had several teams that were as good as the eventual NC winner. When I think back to our 2010 and 2011 teams and how many things had to go our way, it gave me a much greater understanding of how difficult it is to win a national championship in baseball. UNC will win one - probably sooner than later.

FSU has been saying the same thing for how many years now? Just sayin'!
So did we - for over three decades. It's a tough thing to do. We probably had 8 or 10 national championship caliber teams since 1975, and just couldn't get over the hump (until 2010). Same now for UNC, and I would certainly put FSU in that category as well.
Been attending college baseball games for over 40 years. Their baseball fans are the worst I have ever been around at a college game. Thing about it is, they are always like that.
Unreal how obnoxious they are.
UNC is really good and 5 of 7 in the World Series is impressive. They're just not Carolina.
There is only one Carolina Baseball.
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.
Really? I have yet to see any positive press or negative press from him about our program. What I have seen from him about us was more obligatory reporting especially compared to the orgasmic writing he does every year about UNC and Mike Fox. Frankly I would have been shocked if he had not predicted UNC to win it all considering how much of a man crush he has on them.
And that is just sad NCCF. Like I mentioned earlier, he has no support within his administration.
Aluminum fans for baseball as well football. LOL.
The picture below was from last season when the played NC State on a Sunday.
LOL...that is pathetic!
