This is real simple...first half spurrier thought they chuck the ball all around the stadium. Shaw, for whatever reason, was not getting the ball out. I refuse to believe that KY had that great of coverage EVERY TIME Shaw dropped back. But thats beside the point. Second half, much like the last three years here, spurrier said screw it, let's try running. So they played a more traditional offense in the second half. Don't think that just because they had a bad first half that Spurrier wasn't calling the plays. He's not God. He wants to pass the ball and until he sees consistent failure in that area he will call passing plays. No jet sweeps or fakes because offense wasn't moving alot first half. If you've ever noticed, spurrier doesn't open the playbook until he's confident in the offense. When he sees that, its on. If not, you get last nights game. And to the post about no more zone reads, WHAT? Thats what KILLED UGA the last two years.
