the thought passed my mind that bama was a finalist for clowney. can you imagine the difference between the bama team we saw last night & the one it would be if clowney was added?
they had no speed rush to the outside, murray had leisurely time to throw more often than not. add clowney to the beast they have on the inside & they would have dismantled georgia by an avalanche. its what bama is missing. they tried to pressure with front four but kept letting uga get out of 2nd & 3rd with 15-20 yrds to go....long third down situation. would not have happened with clowney
bama would be invincible. glad we got him, so bama is not invincible. too bad saban
but bama did hit murray some, he came back but in the end he always comes up short in the big moment. sorry, maybe he can avoid the media another week
as for bad time management by georgia at the last of the game, please note saban botched the time management at the end of the first half, losing a really good shot at a td
25 seconds to go three time outs & they let the clock run down as they think about rushing for a first down to stop the clock?
neither staff distinquished itself
bama's defense is big, and pretty slow. They are vulnerable to running outside. They also have pretty big problems in the secondary.
They are in the NC due to getting pretty lucky from a horrible coaching decsion by LSU's coaches to abandon what LSU had been doing to shut bama down all night on the last drive, and play in a soft zone. bama lost to the only other pretty good team they played this year.
jawja's defense was pretty sad against the run last night. They will never have 10 NFL players on D again, so if that is the best Grantham can do with all of that talent, that is pathetic.
We all hate jawja's fans, and they suck. As hard as it is to believe, bama's fans are worse. bama fans are the most arrogant rednecks in the country.
You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
