Looking for badges. Practice rounds or Tournament rounds. I don't care. What are your experiences or what have you heard as far as showing up and scalping? Prices? TIA.
My best friend sold 4 Wednesday practice round tickets for $600 each and he could've gotten more. Prices are going to be high.
Amencornercock gave me some good tips last year. I didn't follow them b/c I was taking my dad who was battling prostate cancer so I wanted to make I had legit tickets. Haven't seen him post in awhile though.
Looking as well, any advice? Alot of people I work with are going but obv don't have spares
Go on a practice round day at about 1 pm. Old people will be leaving to go home. Dress nice and ask them politely if you can use their badges to go in. Someone will give it to you
^^^^^ what he said, and offer them 20 bucks.
If you do happen to get some outside the gate make sure they scanned them when they came out if not you cannot re-enter its a new rule this year
I have two extra to sell for Tuesday's practice round. Feel free to email me if you're interested, I was going to put them on E-Bay. email@example.com
I'll echo what LilJery said. Practice rounds are a piece of cake(tournament badges are NOT).
Just turn onto Washington Rd after noon(1 or 2 best times) and you'll see quite a number of folks selling practice round badges walking back to their car. Hell, I've never get out of my car getting these. Simply get their attention, pull over...and negotiate. You may indeed get some for free, but realisticaly expect to pay about $25-50 ea. They may ask for a hundred per, but they'll settle for quite a bit less. It's simple..."just ask".
Trust me on this.
Wish me luck. Taking advice of AmenCorner and LilJerry. Can any one else confirm or deny what BathGamecock said above? Thanks.
We doing a prediction contest again?
Yes, the only way you can re-enter is if your ticket has been scanned for re-entry.
Most of the people do that at some point during the day. Many arrive early to purchase their masters gear....take it to the car and return. But I'd still make sure to ask.
I have 2 badges available for the final round. Send me a PM if interested.

What an amazing experience. We got parked around 2:15 or so. Started walking and asking around for tickets. The first people that were willing to part with their used badges sold them to us for $10 apiece. We got in without any problems. Best day I've had since we beat Clemson Thanksgiving weekend. I'll be back every year now for practice rounds until I luck up and score some tourney badges.
glad you went
piece of cake, no?
10 bucks....you da man!
Thanks for the update KeyRoad and for everyone else contributing to this thread. I've always ignored discussions about going to the Masters because I thought it was impossible. Glad to hear that there is a way!
Metcock don't act like you can afford $10 bucks!
It really was too easy, AmenCorner. I think we got a little lucky but I'd rather be lucky than good sometimes.
