If the story of Georgia's RT (Houston) is true (which I am sure it is), I feel for the kid. The article makes a valid point though that the NCAA cannot make an exception here or else it opens up a huge can of worms.
Every other player...they brought it on themselves and I just hope they can turn their habits and actions around for the sake of their futures.

The highly recruited NCAA bound football players, their parents, and their high school coaches should take a more active role in treatment of these players to make sure the drugs they ingest do not contain substances banned by the NCAA. I feel certain this would have never occurred if they stopped and asked the right questions. Also, the NCAA should look at this situation and see if it is possible for the drug to remain in his system this long from the surgery in 2009 and also look at what level the drugs have to be elevated to in order to impact in game performance.
