yesterday I posted that I thought his hit on Marcus was calculated and that he intended to injure Marcus, I posted in the heat of the moment and let my emotions influence my opinion. I like everyone else here , was devastated after Marcus was hurt . I can honestly say that this injury impacted me with more emotion than anything I have ever witnessed at an athletic event. I pray for Marcus and would give him my knee if that were possible. I feel certain the hit was not intended to hurt Marcus and I apologize for accusing Eric Gordon.
Did you get into the dipping sauce a little yesterday?
No big deal. All is forgiven. It takes a man to admit when he was wrong, so kudos to you.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
You did a good job with that. Respect.

I can't blame on that, I was completely sober.
No worries. I didn't know who to be upset with when that happened. I wanted to be angry. I didn't watch anymore football after our game. The look on Marcus's face broke me and I'll never understand why things like that happen to incredible people. That injury yesterday will test a lot of peoples faith, I know it has mine.
No worries bra, we all got emotionional in one way or another yesterday.
I had a tinge of that feeling myself until I thought about the guys size and position.
Way to man up. Upvote for you.
Left to right: Reed and Blondie,
A relative, who is a CU fan, sent me a message that it was a dirty hit.
I didn't agree with that opinion and still don't. Just a freek injury. 24 was just trying to get 21 down.

George Strait-Entertainer of a Lifetime
I meant to post this yesterday, but I was told by someone on the field with the teams and coaches circling Marcus, that Gordon was visibly crying as were other TN players.
What he said.
I don't let stuff on message boards piss me off, but I was really wondering what you saw/where you were coming from.
BTW, I would imagine that Gordon feels absolutely sick over the results of the play.
Well done. I think all of GC nation was on an emotional rollercoaster yesterday....and most of us still are today............

Don't beat yourself up over it, you owned it and apologized. I think we all were hit hard and are still shaken by this tragedy I know I am.
Hey floodcock, given what Brooster has said here, do you think it's possible that maybe some people in the stands, maybe even Section 11 were a little overly emotional too?
Easy to forgive Brooster, but do we crucify everybody else and demand his season tickets? Just saying....
Enlighten me. Not familiar with the Section 11 drama. Someone there go off the deep end over the hit?
I did not attend the game. My brother came up from Myrtle Beach with my nephew so I gave them my tix and parking pass. I sit in section 4 so I doubt I would have seen anything seven sections away.

Thanks for sharing. Another evidence of how much Marcus is loved and respected.
Never mind big guy.. I just assume sometimes that everybody reads all the threads and you would have known what I was talking about.
Proud of you for "manning" up and apologizing. I knew it was an emotional response from you when I read your post yesterday. Now, learn to forgive yourself, because we have already forgiven you.

Pix of a Passer/King angelfish (saltwater). Got him as a 1.5inch baby. Now, 12 years later, 14inch adult.
I am always the one that goes against the grain. This is still America and you can say what you like. Now if you "attacked" someone here personally then perhaps an apology is in order.
If you feel the need to apologize to the group, so be it.
When I was younger, I had a bumper sticker that said, "If I owned Hell & Clemson, I would rent out Clemson and live in Hell"
Thanks I needed to blame someone
Brooster: I actually upvoted you yesterday because I thought too many of our guys were piling on you. It WAS an incredibly emotional moment... and that was a tough hit... and I hold no love for Eric Gordon ... and I do not like that tweet of his... BUT I'd like to think it was just clean, hard football.
Regardless, nice job of manning up. It's all good.
