I agree with you Bateman. The money is a big reason this deal was done not the quality of the products. That said, I guess the people on here hate you. The post has net 15 down votes with the majority of the people commenting on the post agreeing with you to some extent. I wouldn't worry about it though. I racked up 17 down votes in one day this week which is a new personal record for me. I hope the votes start reflecting the comments unless of course you were going for a new one day down vote record with this post. haha
I like it
We are getting new Unis in 14
Although the UA clothing is pricy, I've only bought one UA shirt that didn't wear really well. My striped "Steve Spurrier" signed shirt looks as good today as the day I bought it 8 years ago and I wear it almost once a week.
As for the UA uniforms, I'm happy with them.
I don't know enough about the alleged "shoe problem" to comment but I have a hard time believing that if the UA shoes were causing foot problems, SOS and USC would be all in UA's face to get better shoes even if that means buying non-UA footwear.
Dont know of foot problems before but I do know that some within the team complained about them immediately. I dont care for the form fit thing for fans...great if you are chiseled but most of us aint AND they are WAAAAAAAAY overpriced and not too cool. Those LSU britches were an embarrassment.
I think we are deeper into the contract than mentioned above...at least 3 years and maybe 4
UA is garbage.
The fact that you'd be ok with Adidas pretty much sums it up for me.
Go! Fight! Win! Kick Ass!
My take is we are not a big time program yet, until we can play consistently well and win on the road against elite programs we will not be big time. We have become a very good team and are very much pointed in the right direction; until we are consistently playing in the SECCG we don't have the chips in our pocket to make any demands from an apparel company.

I have actually had bone spurs on both feet. While they weren't caused by my shoes, I had to change shoes in order to let them heal. The doctors put me in the highest available number of New Balance shoes for everyday wear. They told me surgery really doesn't help the problem. The spurs grow back.
I did what they said, and the spurs went away without surgery. They are extremely painful. I don't know how he's playing if he has bone spurs. Even standing hurts.
UA stuff is awesome IMO.
I love the uniforms and support HBC on his reluctance to go with the latest fad and stay with a more traditional look. Plus I hate the flat black matte look of some helmuts
I love UA gear. I think they have the best fan apparel, which is why you see Nike schools wear under armor gear too.
The only thing I would change is the bball teams. It's crucial to be a Nike school. Every kids likes rocking J's, lebrons, durants, etc
The big downside to dropping UA and picking up Nike would be that we would have to wear some ghey pro-combat unis at some point. I like our military themed unis, but the pro-combat make me sick.
"You’re either a block-gobbler, a farmer, or you’re a damn hunter and playmaker."
IMO, it's time for a Big Time board like the Big Spur to drop your trolling arse!
NFL wore freaking Reebock for years. No gains in market share as a result. Kids love UA stuff nowadays.
This is definatley not true... UA is not a popular choice of clothing outside of working out. Anything workout wise, yes, UA is in the conversation, but as far as clothing or anything of the sorts definately not.
why can't they make a dry fit polo that doesn't get "pulls" in it?
I walk around baseball fields, basketball gyms, and the like with my sons sporting events. Kids flat out wear UA stuff all of the time. I'm not sure what your are saying, but kids love UA stuff. No, they don't wear UA polos, but they don't wear Polo shirts much at all.
Anyone that thinks we are going to get the same attention or dollars from Nike that Alabama, Oregon, Florida, or Georgia get is crazy.
I like being a UA school. They have chosen to put their money on us. UA has come to the table with several uniform options and we have declined to use them.
