Sure. But even in this thread you see the sentiment offered up numerous times that certain players...well they were going to be good no matter what. The inference being, Jr gets no credit for them, just the ones that weren't great. It's a weird dynamic.
I do think there's something to be said that there were reports of just how good Rice was the year he was RS'd. And that the standard Alshon play, from his freshman season on was - jumpball to Alshon. I'd give him more credit for development of Ace and Kenny than those two. But, I have no problem giving him credit for all of them.
And, I think if you count Rice, then you have to count the other WRs he inherited, no?

I know you think you know more than some of us poor unenlightened fans.but seriously can't y'all just give it a rest? I do believe you are a great gamecock fan but it is really getting old.
We have good players and good coaches just let us enjoy them.
The OP's points are well taken and I for one like SE. However, the question then becomes who was ultimately responsible for the 2008, 2009, and 2010 OL recruiting failures.
I believe it. It pissed me off at the time, I can tell you that.
