Taking my Aubbie girlfriend there this weekend to show her "my Carolina". Truly one of my favorite places to sneak away for a weekend. Going to stay at Shem Creek Inn and eat at Waters Edge Friday night...then take her to Poe's for some imbibing. Saturday is "Valentines Day" and taking her to Peninsula Grille. Yeah, a bit overpriced but might as well go big.
Anyway, we'll be at Waters Edge Friday afternoon sucking the bottoms out of some cold beers if anyone wants to come by for an improptu party!

ADDICTED TO GLOVE!!!!
Would not freaking miss it. I may have it as an appetizer, an entree, and desert!
Peninsula Grille is a great spot....
South Eastern Wildlife this weekend if you are interested. Downtown will be crazy. Better get reservations now!
assuming you have reservations as SEWE is this weekend. Charleston will be a zoo, albeit a fun zoo.
Never heard of SEWE and looking at it online now...it's an art show?!?! Just picked this weekend at random and, thankfully, made reservations at PG when I did. Now I know why my hotel was higher than normal!
I shrimped out fo Shem creek for a year-
ate good but didn't make much money
South Eastern Wildlife Expo(SEWE) is actually not a bad time...it's not a "art show". They do sell some nice art though...check it out. Decent food/drinks/animals/good looking women(Charleston is full of that already)...worth checking out atleast once
"Tigers love pepper......they hate GAMECOCKS"
thanks man and I'll check it out. Looked at their website...looks like fun.
Yeah, it's not a bad thing to pop by and have a couple cold ones while you take in the views
Just grabbed lunch at waters edge. You should definitely go across the creek to Red's. Should be a lot of trim there to keep you occupied.
Actually I'm hoping to meet Ace and have a couple of cool ones with him. Maybe he'll show me his boats!!
Heard he is going to be there with Oprah...
thanks but taking the girlfriend with. not sure we're at the point where it's comfortable inviting a third LOL. FWIW...love Red's.
i thought it was Bill Clinton, keeping the cigar thing going.
Dock Dogs is one of the best parts of SEWE. We will be back on Saturday though..YardCocks no way I am missing that opener. Happy to get a beer with you GAM on Saturday.
Peninsula Grill is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in my life. Expensive, yes; overpriced, not for the quality of food and service they provide.
Got any pix of hot half naked babes on your boat?
