Iberostar Grand Bavaro - Dominican R. - Punta Cana
champagne kisses and caviar dishes, and I don't know whyyyy!
We did Sandals Grand Bahamian 11 years ago and loved every minute of it. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Fowl Cay also close by Is Sampson Cay and I'm pretty sure Staniel Cay Yacht Club has an all inclusive plan.
Escape to Fowl Cay's luxury Caribbean resort - your own private beach resort in Exumas, Bahamas awaits.
I can't imagine that theres anything better than Secrets at Maroma Beach (Cancun). This is an adults only, all inclusive resort that offers great food, service and each guest is treated like a king. I would love to go back.
Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun - We used Apple Travel (Cancun).

Some friends just got back from a delayed honeymoon to the Sandals on Exuma and they loved it.
I have spent a lot of time on the Bahamas Out Islands fishing and there are some really nice smaller resorts. Some real hidden gems if you want miles of nice beaches and few people.
Just back from Colonial Majestic in Punta Cana today. Pretty nice. Beach is great and so are the rooms and service. Food wasnt good but if you go on an all inclusive for food, good luck. I would def suggest this place.. I think we payed around 2800 for flight and all inclusive. Beware tons of Canadians and foreigners. Good excursions. We went snorkeling with sharks and a catamaran for 85 a person. All of the excursions are around that price. Tons of rooms. Huge pools and they have a colonial club section which is a little more hands on and is for adults only.
Last year we got married in Negril Jamaica at Beaches Negril. Hands down the best beaches (Negril is top 5 in the world for beaches) and the food was really good. Rooms were nice, but the service is UNREAL. The locals from this part of the island are extremely nice more so than any other part of the island. It is a family resort but these family resorts have more actiivities and are more laid back. Sort of village feel to it and has everything you can ask for. Def worth the money.
After we were married (the next day) we headed to Sandals Whitehouse for our honeymoon. Its on the South end of the island and more rural. Pretty cool excursions. I recommend doing the pelican bar catamaran. The locals from this part are not as vocal and are not as nice. I think they are told to shut it because of the visitors to the resort. There are tons of foreigners but less Canadians! Canadians suck at these resorts. The food is more upscale and by the 4th day were missing Beaches Negril.
Hopefully this may help if you are looking at the Dominican or Jamaica. We are headed to Aruba next year.
When you say the food wasn't good do you mean really not good or just not that great of quality?
As someone else said...use tripadvisor. Have traveled all over SE Asia, Mexico, and the Caribbean and used tripadvisor for pretty much everything...hotels, restaurants, tours, excursions, etc, etc. Best resource there is.
Although most all the best all-inclusives in Mex have been mentioned here already, and are rated as such on tripadvisor. Then it's really what you want to do. For example Le Blanc in Cancun is great (#1 in Cancun on tripadvisor)...if you want to just relax, be pampered, eat well, and do spa stuff. For excursions and diving/snorkeling and things like that however, staying in Cancun isn't great - much better to stay down towards PDC or even Tulum.
Talk to Brad Scott. He hooked up Potkins's family in a resort for a couple of months. I hear they had a great time.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
Just booked a honeymoon to the Royal Bahamian last week. It's a Sandals resort in Nassau and has it's own private island. Can't wait.
All-inclusive vacations and honeymoons at Sandals Royal Bahamian, a luxury Bahamas resort, are luxurious experiences unmatched by any other Bahamas hotel.
WOW!!! is right. At first I thought "those rates aren't that bad." Then I realized those rates were per DAY.
