No thank you. I've set a higher standard for my university.
Hell why not....We openly love professional athletes that cheat with drugs but yet root for these same players because they happen to be on the team we follow the most...Not sure why Arkansas fired him to begin with....Heck, they hired Danny Ford when they knew he cheated at Clemtech so it is not really an integrity issue at Arkansas....Don't even tell me he was cleared of all those accusations....Everyone knew he was guilty but yet the NCAA didn't crucify him....
I am very happy having a high character coach who has been able to recruit high character players. I see no reason to accept less in the future.
Hire him in a heartbeat. The affair was outside of football so it should not count against him. She was hired three (3) days prior to the school finding out about the affair and never officially worked under Petrino. No pun intended, well maybe a little just the tip. The stuff with leaving Louisville for the pros and then leaving Atlanta for college again, yes I think it could have been done better but oh well, people live and learn which is why I agree with others here that hopefully he has learned from his mistakes and will probably be pretty clean form a character standpoint. Also, I have not seen any thing about cheating within his programs so I will assume for now that he does not.

Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
It's not necessarily PR, but more about perception. Putting Petrino in any position to be a leader of men at the COLLEGE level could kill your program. Cheating on your wife with another man's fiance? In the Bible belt? nah, won't work unless the school hit bottom. The parents of recruits would be all over his past. He can't been seen as a leader of men, and has such a shaky past that he would have a difficult time being the disciplinarian that a head coach or coordinator is. He'd be one of the faces of your program. After a few years he could slip into a coordinator spot, but as a head coach, it'd be crazy to risk your program like that.
The only good players he could recuit would be low character themselves and we know what that brings. Just NO!
